Immunochemical diagnostics to define the disease biomarkers

Summary
Currently, immunochemical methods are widely used in clinical diagnostic laboratories for identification and quantitative detection of biological markers of the disease of various genesis. The reason is the combination of high sensitivity and specificity of immunochemical assay, express and simple in execution. Of great interest are various modifications of ELISA, immunosensoric and immunochromatographic analysis with test strips. Introduction of immunochemical methods for the determination of biomarkers in medical practice will help to prevent dangerous diseases at the early stages, to reduce mortality, to increase life interval, significantly reduce treatment costs and ultimately improve the quality of living standards.
