Summary.
The article considers the promising areas of theory and practice integration, such as development of adequate production functions and cost functions of a particular business, the method of econometric modeling of demand analysis introducing to practice, wider use of stochastic methods. Some aspects of economic analysis related to the digital economy are briefly reviewed. This will contribute to the creation of practice-oriented tools that meet new challenges.
