Summary.
The article analyzes the exports and imports structure of agricultural raw materials and foodstuffs of the Republic of Belarus in the context of import substitution in the agro-industrial complex. A number of commodity items have been identified, which could allow to reduce the total cost of imports of agri-food products, as well as the main directions of domestic industries development to optimize import flows in the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Belarus.
