Confectionery products of the new generation
The article gives the information on the promising sugar substituting ingredients to be used in the confectionery production of new generation: sweeteners (isomalt, maltitol and erythritol), and natural food fibers (oligofructose). Developed types of domestic confectionery products are presented as products with «no added sugar» (sugar content is not more than 5 g/100 g of product).

The article considers the research results of technological features of condensed milk with sugar products based on whey production. The studies on the preservatives and antioxidants of chemical origin substituting the vegetable natural ingredients, which also have preservative and antioxidant properties, are very significant for the high-quality meat products development. The authors studied the use of three vegetable compositions that enable to reduce oxidative and microbiological spoilage of meat minced system.

The article considers the formation and accumulation of artificial radionuclides, which is a specific problem of nuclear technologies. Under certain circumstances they can get into the environment. The most dangerous are isotopes of cesium-134 and 137. The authors considered the possible use of microbiological additives to correct the rate of cesium excretion from the body.

Influence of epiphytic lichens biomass on the germination of cereal seeds
The article considers the influence of crushed biomass of epiphytic foliose and bushy lichen on seed germination and initial growth of cereal crops. The inhibitory and stimulating effect of the lichen on seed germination and initial growth of oats, barley, rye, wheat, triticale and corn was shown.
