The innovative preservation solution for the vascular surgery
The article considers the vascular segments viability problem in modulated conditions. The research undertaken has led to the development of the non-aerated preservative solution containing the bicarbonate buffer and the PVP-encapsulated curcumin. The preservative efficacy of this curcumin-based solution was significantly higher as compared to those solutions known in the market. The obtained results give a promising alternative to protect blood vessels in vascular surgery.
