Anti-fibrotic therapy of liver chronic disease
The article presents the modern view on the mechanisms of liver fibrosis including fibrogenesis, angiogenesis and fibrolysis. The authors formulate the main trends of actual pathogenetic therapy of liver fibrosis and describe mostly prospective antifibrotic compounds. The role of pituitary tumor transforming factor in liver fibrosis, newly discovered in the laboratory, is shown. The data on high antifibrotic activity of nor-ursodeoxycholicacid and some other compounds are also presented.

Changes in climatic conditions and their influence on crop productivity in Belarus
The paper presents the data on the amount of precipitation, the amount of rainless periods, temperature and hydrothermal coefficient over a long-term period (1981-2012) in the central and south-eastern parts of Belarus. Analysed is the influence of these factors on the productivity of crops cultivated in lysimeter experiments on sod-podzolic and peat soils with different particle-size distribution.
